Nico Fischer

Founder and engineering lead

Nico Fischer is an engineer (M.Sc., TUHH) specialising in medical data processing, software engineering and intelligent automation systems. During his studies he worked at TUHH’s Institute of Medical Technology and Intelligent Systems and at the Institute of Osteology and Biomechanics at UKE on projects in deep-learning 3D motion tracking and in the analysis of bone mineralisation by X-ray scattering.

From 2023 to 2026 he worked as a software engineer on the ECG analysis backend of a medical diagnostics platform at a med-tech start-up. After the software was rejected for MDR certification, he led the revision of the clinical evaluation plan and report, and it was subsequently certified.
